After nearly a decade of quiet reflection, transcontinental touring, and soul-stirring performances in some of the world’s most revered intimate venues, indie-folk singer-songwriter Seanie Vaughan is ready to unveil his long-awaited third studio album: Between Chaos and Order, set for release on May 30th. Known for his haunting lyrics, raw acoustic textures, and the kind of storytelling that stops a room cold, Seanie Vaughan re-emerges with a record that captures the fragile beauty of time, loss, and renewal. Between Chaos and Order marks the artist’s first release since 2017’s Redemption, a record that garnered critical acclaim for its sparse, emotional honesty and earned Vaughan a small but devoted global following. Since then, he has quietly built a reputation as a magnetic live performer, touring from London to Hong Kong and most recently across the United States, where he played to sold-out rooms in storied venues like The Hotel Café in Los Angeles, The Blue Note in New York, and Eddie’s Attic in Atlanta. “The years since Redemption have been some of the hardest and most beautiful of my life,” says Vaughan. “This album is about the spaces in between—the silences, the long drives, the people we carry with us. I wrote it mostly on the road or in empty bars as the bar staff were collecting glasses.” Recorded between Clew Bay Studios, Westport and a secluded cottage in County Louth, Ireland, Between Chaos and Order offers a stunning blend of melancholy and poetic fire. Produced in collaboration with Bart de Boer, the album features a rotating cast of gifted instrumentalists including strings, harmonium, and even the occasional ghostly pedal steel. The album’s lead single, “Highway”, is out now and already generating buzz with its delicate harmonies and lyrical ache. A North American and European tour will follow the album’s release, with dates to be announced soon. Between Chaos and Order will be available on all major streaming platforms and in limited edition vinyl and CD formats via DyVn Music.
