Seanie Vaughan - Altered Vision 15th Anniversary Celebration

 —  —

Curveball @ The Button Factory, Curved Street, Dublin

Seanie Vaughan at Curveball Dublin 20th February 2026

Exactly 15 Years since the release his first album, Altered Vision (released 4th February 2011), Seanie Vaughan returns to Curveball @ The Button Factory (Tickets €15 from www.seanievaughanmusic.com) to celebrate the anniversary of this release. Altered Vision was the start of a journey that has seen Vaughan now release 3 further albums, and although the album itself was very much a homemade effort, it’s authenticity still carries weight amongst fans. The lead single, The Valley, a folky love song, still remains a popular inclusion on the set-list (https://youtu.be/5KSeSJsmNFs?si=iAkwEv-Wiginv4Zc) giving an insight into the young songwriters willingness to weave the themes of love, life in rural Ireland and learning through maturity into his music. The accompanying video shows the family pub which provided the characters and experiences which inspired much of his early song-writing. Even after a career that has seen him tour internationally (SXSW, Americanafest, Folk Alliance International), his home in Connemara remains an important part of his production. This show will be a celebration of all that has been enjoyed over the last 15 years, one that is not to be missed. Get your tickets today.

Here’s a little bit more about Seanie Vaughan’s most recent album release, Between Chaos and Order……… Seanie Vaughan, the acclaimed indie rock and folk artist from Connemara, Galway, has announced the release of his highly anticipated third studio album, Between Chaos and Order. The record, released on May 25, 2025 marks Vaughan’s return to the studio after an eight-year hiatus since his critically acclaimed Redemption (2015). A Proven Voice in Irish Music Vaughan first made his mark in 2011 with debut album Altered Vision, which reached No. 5 in the Irish Indie Album Charts. Rooted in the landscapes and stories of rural Ireland, it showcased his gift for lyrical honesty and powerful themes. His 2015 follow-up, Redemption, leaned further into rock while exploring love, loss, and national identity. The album earned widespread praise, with Hot Press comparing it to The Beatles and Pure M Magazine calling Vaughan “unmissable” and “en route to becoming an integral part of Irish rock.” Between Chaos and Order Between Chaos and Order sees Vaughan at his most assured, weaving folk-rock roots with rich indie textures. Across twelve tracks, the album explores themes of balance and resilience—finding calm amid turbulence and beauty within hardship. Highlights include: • Highway – a soaring, road-trip anthem and dramatic anchor to the album. • Mirror – ethereal and haunting, with plaintive vocals. • Beaten – grounded, gritty, and emotionally resolute. • Blue Skies – electric and uplifting, an instant repeat. • You Give Me All – Beatles-esque harmonies with warmth and vitality. Other tracks such as Better Man, Inebriate, Stop, and Thunder round out a diverse, 49-minute collection that reflects Vaughan’s growth as both songwriter and storyteller. Critical Acclaim The new album has already been met with glowing reviews: • Hot Press (8/10): “Rugged, realistic songs [that] possess a nourishing vitality.” • Irish Independent: “Seanie Vaughan’s new album proves he is a class act.” • Pure M Magazine (★★★★★): “Infectious. Unmissable.” A Defining Return With Between Chaos and Order, Seanie Vaughan confirms his place as one of Ireland’s most compelling voices. Soulful, textured, and sincere, the album is a powerful statement from an artist whose music continues to resonate both at home and abroad.
