Exactly 15 Years since the release his first album, Altered Vision (released 4th February 2011), Seanie Vaughan returns to Curveball @ The Button Factory (Tickets €15 from www.seanievaughanmusic.com) to celebrate the anniversary of this release. Altered Vision was the start of a journey that has seen Vaughan now release 3 further albums, and although the album itself was very much a homemade effort, it’s authenticity still carries weight amongst fans. The lead single, The Valley, a folky love song, still remains a popular inclusion on the set-list (https://youtu.be/5KSeSJsmNFs?si=iAkwEv-Wiginv4Zc) giving an insight into the young songwriters willingness to weave the themes of love, life in rural Ireland and learning through maturity into his music. The accompanying video shows the family pub which provided the characters and experiences which inspired much of his early song-writing.
